The top-end configuration includes a multimedia system with a 7-inch display, Navitel navigation and Bluetooth.

The interior of the Geely Emgrand 7 sedan looks better during the day, because at night the buttons are not very nicely illuminated, such a bright blue color. Also, the seating position is not particularly comfortable. But the plastic is of normal quality. After restyling, the car received new door handles, a new steering wheel, the engine began to be started with a button, and also a different gearbox selector.

Externally, after restyling, the car got new bumpers, and the headlights became more modern. The Gili emblem now has blue segments, whereas previously they were red. The basic version now includes heated seats and a stability control system. Cars are assembled using the SKD method now at the Belarusian Belji plant.

But despite the restyling, the Emgrand 7 sedan still remained unfinished, the seating position is the same as on the Priora, and the climate control does not work well. The seats themselves are good, there is even lumbar support and the leatherette does not slip, but the “chair-pedals-steering wheel” configuration itself is not thought out, so it is not very comfortable to drive in such a car.

There are also strong points such as soft plastic on the dashboard and rear view cameras. But the rear view camera comes only in the top version, where static markings are also displayed on the display. And the picture is pretty good that you can see everything that is behind.

So, the story of buying a Geely Emgrand X7 car (about the Chinese in general and about this miracle - a few words at the end of the story). My father-in-law wanted to buy a car - an ordinary man of 50 years old - an ordinary driver all his life, he counts pennies, but he is completely unfamiliar with the legal and financial sphere. In general, in our country there are 90% of such ordinary men. I am not a lawyer, but a financier, but as part of my job I read a lot of documents. I won’t just sign a single piece of paper myself until I understand, read and count it. Also (I don’t know whether this helped in the end or not, maybe it’s off topic), but in my youth I was actively involved in sports, my weight is heavy, I’m still a man with a more than strong physique, I continue to go to the gym. This means that at some point I was already waiting for the bouncers and assessing our chances. But that’s not the point...

Moscow. Southern Administrative Okrug, khach-salon. Sorry, I am by no means a nationalist, just a popular expression. Then I read on the Internet specifically about the Southern Administrative District of Moscow - a lot about Kashirskoe Highway. I don’t give the name of the car dealership and address, because... I already understand that this is not an isolated case, if you are interested, write in a personal message. Why exactly the hach ​​salon and this particular car - don’t ask me, I don’t know. My father-in-law got this into his head and I couldn’t get these thoughts out of there. I told him about Logan and Duster, etc. and so on. - useless. Although I’ll tell you why this particular hach ​​salon is – the price is 40 thousand lower than the official one. For a simple Russian chauffeur, this is a lot of money, because of which all this happened.

The first visit to the salon took place on Saturday 08/30/2014 - I didn’t like it there even then. It seems more or less clean, but the name is murky and there is a feeling in the air that you might be attacked. In general, Zhilya was not there on Saturday. They say - leave an application for a loan, if the loan is confirmed, we will bring the car in for inspection. We saw a picture when a woman wanted to buy a Hover there for cash - to which she was told - you first make an advance, and then we will show you your car. I don’t know how that story ended, but human psychology, stupidity and arrogance truly knows no bounds.

Here and below, the prices are rounded, to understand the general order of the numbers, but they differ from the real ones by 20-30 thousand. My father-in-law filled out an application for a loan, I was immediately somewhat confused by the fact that with the cost of the car being 600 tr. The application was asked to be completed for the full cost of the car, excluding the 200 rubles planned down payment. To my question “why so?” the answer was given that you never know, buy a more expensive one, and the interest rate will be lower, etc. In general, while it didn’t really oblige me to anything, I calmed down.

The next day they called my father-in-law over the phone, and approved the loan over the phone. A day later he sells his Lacetti, calls the car dealership and arranges to come at 2 pm to pick up the car so that it is in the showroom + some extras are already on it.

Date 09/03/2014 - I have a working day, I didn’t really want to leave work, but something skipped a beat in my heart and I went to the car dealership to visit my mother-in-law and father-in-law. Of course, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon there was no car. Then there are long stories that it is in another warehouse, that it is already being transported, that it will happen in 20-30-40 minutes, in general, 3 hours have passed. To my honor, I want to say that I felt the divorce in my ass and from about 3 days on I carefully told my father-in-law that this was crap and I needed to leave here. My father-in-law was adamant - I need this car and that’s it. Tomorrow - to be registered, the day after tomorrow - to the village. I had simpler thoughts, I thought that there was no car at all, and the car dealer just wanted us to “get hooked” and choose something from stock.

I didn’t waste any time, I asked him to let me read all the standard documents for the transaction - they gave me an example of some woman - the complete package. I re-read everything very carefully 2 times - in general, normal loan, collateral and purchase and sale agreements. And the name of the bank is well known. There is nothing particularly to complain about. The following confused me: according to the agreement, the lady bought the Polo on credit. The price of the polo was 800 rubles (I don’t know current car prices), and the loan agreement was signed for 780. Plus, I wasn’t good at math. My question is: is it possible to buy a car without a down payment? - the answer was given that this is such a generous bank - of course, it’s possible. So far they haven’t offered to sign anything, I didn’t strain myself, in general the documents shown were in perfect order.

At about 5 o'clock in the afternoon I was fed up with this wait (my father-in-law did not agree to leave) and I began to give him instructions and get ready to go home. And then the second lucky chance - she finally arrived. Silver Zhil. In general, I decided to stay until the end - it’s still interesting to look at, touch, etc. In the process, it turned out that of the special stages for which they asked for 30 rubles, a signaling system was not installed, there were no fender liners and the promised anticorrosion protection was not provided. Everything was according to the documents. The seller apologized and excluded the amounts from the purchase order. We chalked it up to simple carelessness.

Next comes the most interesting part.

Closer to 7 pm we are allowed to sign a preliminary purchase and sale agreement. I’m reading it - it’s a good contract, but I don’t understand why a preliminary one is needed - the car is already here, the documents are also here, the VINs and so on are all there. The employee explains that this is for the bank - an initial payment (200 rubles) will be made on it, and then the bank will transfer the loan funds to the account. Because The contract doesn’t particularly oblige you to anything, except for paying an advance, I’m generally not against it, but I tell my father-in-law that you are paying 200 rubles now, and if the deal falls through, how will you receive them? According to the law, it seems like 2 weeks (I didn’t remember exactly, it turned out to be 10 days). But my father-in-law’s eyes are shining - he agrees to everything.

Next, the father-in-law and mother-in-law go to the cash register and pay 200 rubles according to the agreement - I didn’t follow up and didn’t tell them to take the cashier’s receipt, so they were given a receipt, which essentially can be used to wipe their ass. This frayed our nerves a little later, but in the end everything ended well.

Then HE arrives - the time is about 7 pm (5 hours have passed since the beginning of the epic) - HE is the “breeder”. He grabs my father-in-law, drags him into the office, shoves a stack of documents for him to sign. I cut off this moment, break into the office and sit down to read the papers. I didn't have to read much. The first page – the price of the car is 800 rubles (was 600), credit is 600 (was 400). In general, everything comes to me immediately. I politely ask the question - what the fuck? I see the divorcer’s round eyes, saying he doesn’t understand, he runs away, comes running with a preliminary agreement, checks the amounts, then the divorce begins. He begins to count something on a calculator, prove it, talk about the car dealership commission, and so on. My father-in-law is trying to get into the conversation, I stop him and ask him to be silent. While I’m still politely asking the question to the breeder again – what the hell? Give us back our 200 rubles in advance and we can easily leave here. Then the rudeness begins - they say you have already signed everything, they have issued a loan for you and you have bought a car. Did you read what you signed? At this point I was hooked, it seemed like my mission was to read everything and find such crap if there was any. I pull myself together - I say, everyone has read it, show me where everything is written under our signature. They shove pieces of paper under my nose, move my hands, and don’t let me read. Another question - what the hell, show me your signature? They show me the father-in-law’s signature that he is familiar with the fact that all disputes are resolved in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation. My next question - and what - what the hell - return the loot! No sales or loan agreement has yet been signed. Out of the corner of my eye I notice a loan agreement for the amount of 600 rubles (instead of 400) and a rate of 20 percent instead of 10, but there’s no time for that, the main thing is to give it back and leave.

I'm asking my father-in-law to write an application for a refund. The first statement is approximately as follows: they say we want to terminate the preliminary agreement and return the money, because... We are fraudulently forced to sign an incorrect contract. The second application is to transfer money to such and such an account. Then I remember about the ill-fated cash receipt. Mother-in-law - give me the documents for payment! Mother-in-law gives a receipt. Where's the cash receipt? No... I run to the cash register - there is a lady of non-Slavic appearance with round eyes sitting there. Give me the cashier's receipt - now, now, go out. I won't leave without a check! In general, she runs away, I understand that peacechildren got there, I put my mother-in-law on guard at the cash register, with the comment that if they don’t give me a check, I’ll immediately call the police (sorry, the police). In general, the check was returned to us more or less safely, then the manager flies in and starts throwing up his hands, I stand in the doorway, so it turns out that I occupy the entire area with my shoulders. What follows is both funny and sad. The breeder literally flies up to me with the words “who are you, I won’t talk to you at all, I don’t even know your name, let me out of here.” I remember the Lyubertsy gopota. I quietly whisper in his ear that I will tie a gopnik like him in a knot at the exit from the salon and let him out of the office.

At this point, the breeder began to lose ground. And the time is 8 pm (6 hours from the beginning of the epic). Let's return to the father-in-law. The scammer is trying to make attempts to kick me out of the salon with comments that he will only talk to the buyer (i.e. my father-in-law). The father-in-law later admitted that he realized that he had lost 200 rubles, but he didn’t understand anything about what we talked about later. I carefully tell the breeder that if I leave the salon, it will only be with a coffin, in which I will first place him. Next, a couple more attempts to attack on his part, it bothers me, I say that another 1 minute and I’ll call the authorities, call the squad and tell them this whole sad story, if you refuse to accept the application for a refund, give us a copy with all names, surnames, appearances and stamps.

The breeding gopnik changes his tactics of behavior - and what am I - it’s okay, I just want to break up with you peacefully, you misunderstood me, they say, just rewrite the application, saying that the terms of the loan did not suit you and you want to take the money. On the reverse side - they say we have no complaints about the salon - and we will return everything to you. I understand that this is the best way out of the situation, I dictate one more text to my father-in-law, saying that you will receive the application and checks only after I personally count all the money. We go to the cashier, I count the money and we leave.

Having already arrived home, I went on the Internet, entered “fraud in car dealerships” into a search engine and read a lot of sad stories of different people. The scheme is simple - they harass you for many hours in the salon, you simply get tired, they bring you a car, you are euphoric, you want to finish it all, get in the car and drive away, they shove a stack of documents into your hands, which you sign without reading - and that’s it, you’re already in trouble. . In my understanding - at least for the courts and time, if you come to your senses, and at maximum - finally for the money. This is how many visitors come to Moscow for cars from other cities. During the time I spent there, they sold 2 cars to me - to the guys from Tver and to the guy from Volgograd. Plus another woman whose contract for the purchase of Polo I read (remember that loan without a down payment). I think most will miss it when they get home, if they miss it at all.

Either way, draw your own conclusions.

And now about the Chinese and others I watched... I realized that, firstly, I was behind the times, and secondly, I forgot what AvtoVAZ was. The last time I sat in a Chinese Cherry Tiggo at a car dealership was about 5 years ago. Sorry, but it was shit. Now I’ve been visiting the Chinese, but it’s amazing... It’s like they’ve learned how to make cars for their own money. The inside does not cause disgust, the outside is also nothing, they are painted more or less, on the whole I even liked something for the money (I didn’t think I’d say that). There are ergonomic issues, there is a slight feeling of poor quality inside, but look at the price! How it drives, whether it will break down and how to sell it later is another question to which I don’t know the answer. Oddly enough, overall I liked the Hover, although my father-in-law could not sit there normally, the back sofa was especially uncomfortable. And so - nothing seems to be loose at all, the knobs are pressed, the air conditioning stove is working. Even strange.

There were also dusters there. Forgive me, their owners, but how sad everything is there (though the equipment was cheap). Starting from plastic, twists on windows and mirrors, ending with windshield fastening. In comparison with the Duster, the Chinese I looked at look like spaceships from a neighboring planet. This is my personal IMHO, do not judge strictly and re-read the previous paragraph.

Nissan Almera from AvtoVAZ - Logan interior. Painting is terrible. I ran my hand over the roof - in the body shop, while painting, the dust had stuck to it, and it scratched my hand - and this is not just one car. My father-in-law used to work in a car service center - he says you don’t have to move your hand there, I can see it with my eyes.

And finally... An empty new field - I climbed around, looked at it, and I like the look. I won’t talk about the insides - you know everything yourself. Empty price = 430 thousand rubles. I fell.

Everything in the cabin looks modern, a multimedia system with a touch screen, navigation, Bluetooth, and the ability to play DVDs. There's even a USB port in the glove compartment. But China is also China in Africa, for example, the volume key on the steering wheel is upside down, that is, the “+” button is at the bottom, the stove fan squeaks unpleasantly. But the devices are quite convenient and look modern.

In the second row there is a comfortable sofa that can be adjusted longitudinally, and the angle of the backrest can also be adjusted. The Emgrand X7 crossover has a fairly large trunk, it has a roomy underground, but to open the trunk using the button on the trunk, you need to press the button in the cabin, and this is quite inconvenient.

In the X7 crossover, the lumbar support is not as strong as on the sedan, but the seat is softer. The steering is better than that of the Duster, the feedback is better, and when driving on a bad road, less vibration is transmitted.

If you drive through open pits, the suspension in the X7 is rougher than in crossovers from Renault. But the noise insulation in the Gili can be improved, because the noise from the road and the engine is clearly audible in the cabin. If you drive on the highway, then the X7 has an automatic transmission and a 2.4-liter engine with a power of 148 hp. With. - pretty good, but if you drive through traffic jams in this configuration, then this automatic will be annoying. If you lightly press the gas, there will be a slight delay at first, and then a sharp acceleration; you quickly get tired of such jerks, and passengers often nod their heads.

And the desire to drive quickly is discouraged by the brake pedal, because it has a weak force, and this is scary. At a speed of 80 km/h on the X7 crossover you can already hear a whistle from the air, and at a speed of 120 km/h the noise is really serious, making it difficult to hear what passengers are talking about.

But the price is good, for just 1,000,000 rubles you can get a new X7 with an automatic transmission. This will be a car with a single drive, once every 10,000 km. you have to go to a service center to get it done. According to the regulations, the brake fluid must be changed every 20,000 km, the coolant every 30,000 km, and the power steering oil must be changed every 40,000 km. But the manufacturer even gives a warranty of 5 years or 100,000 km. mileage Also among the advantages are a spacious interior and a large car in appearance. Therefore, if you take the all-wheel drive version with a 2-liter engine, then this is a completely reasonable choice.
