The procedure is quite simple, and even a person with no experience can perform it. By doing everything yourself, you will save about 1000 rubles, which is exactly what many stations will charge you for this procedure.

Changing the power steering oil in a Kia Rio looks like this:

1. Start the engine. Unscrew the reservoir cap and use a syringe to remove as much oil as possible from the top of the reservoir. The more fluid you remove, the less time it will take you to replace it. Add fresh fluid to the maximum level.

It would be better to prepare about 1.2 liters so that you definitely have enough to make up for all losses during the replacement process. The procedure may take about 5 minutes.
