2. You can try installing a direct-flow exhaust (“Spider 4-2-1”) and adding shafts with a 268/264 phase or camshafts from a G4GM engine with a high valve lift, the volume of which is 1.8, then the engine power will increase to 160 horsepower .
3. If finances allow, then camshafts with a 270 phase with a large lift can be made to order. You will have to weld the turbo manifold and ensure the oil supply to the turbine; the diameter of the exhaust pipe should be 53 or 61 millimeters. The following items will also be needed: 440c brand injectors, intercooler, piping. Power will increase significantly - up to 180 horsepower. How long this engine will last is another question.

Maintenance

The engine oil in the G4GC engine must be changed every 15,000 kilometers, and under severe operating conditions, as recommended by the factory, every 7,500. This procedure must be carried out with a hot engine, and it is also worth replacing the fuel, oil and air filters.

The coolant must be replaced if the antifreeze has changed its natural color to red and is covered with an oily film, or if there are other changes in its original form. In KIA cars, the coolant must be replaced with a cold engine, after which you need to warm up the engine and measure the amount of fluid in the expansion tank, making sure there are no air pockets. If necessary, add liquid.

3. Strong engine vibration at idle. The reason is contamination of the spark plugs or throttle valve. There is nothing complicated in the repair: just clean these elements.
4. If the engine knocks, this means that the clearances in the timing valves are incorrectly adjusted - a trip to the service station will not be superfluous.
5. A pronounced whistle when the engine is running indicates that the alternator belt is loose and the tension roller needs to be replaced.
6. If the engine speed fluctuates, most likely the reason lies in contamination.

Steep turns

The car's handling is very good, the car quickly responds to the driver's commands, and easily takes turns at decent speeds (above 100 km/h). As for the “disease” of a car of this brand - rolls on turns and the stern moving in different directions - this is not observed on the third generation Kia Cerato, perhaps this is due to the fact that the suspension has been worked out in detail.

The steering wheel is correctly positioned, the car follows its turn instantly. Manageability is at the proper level. The rigid suspension is designed for Russian roads and practically does not notice potholes.

The front suspension is intelligent - the dispersion structure of the car frame distributes vibration and dampens it. The sub-engine frame is designed in such a way that at the moment of a collision, lateral or frontal, it significantly softens the impact.
