Typically, a 7-seat SUV has the ability to fold the rear two rows of seats, which provides simply enormous luggage compartment space. The disadvantage of such cars is their large overall dimensions, so they are not always convenient in city conditions.
There are not many companies producing 7-seater SUVs, as well as models, but they are still found, from European, American, and Asian manufacturers.
Interestingly, domestic automakers also have seven-seater SUVs on their lists.

Domestic-made 7-seater SUVs are represented by two models, and both of these cars are produced by UAZ.
The first model designed for 7 passengers is the UAZ “Hunter”. The second car capable of carrying 7 passengers is the UAZ “Patriot”. This is a more comfortable car, but with the same good cross-country ability. True, the price for it is higher - from 599 thousand to 724 thousand rubles.
If we take into account that station wagons with high ground clearance are often classified as “crossovers”, then domestic manufacturers also have a crossover with 7 seats. But the manufacturer of this car is different - AvtoVAZ, and the model is called Lada Largus Cross, which has a 7-seater version. This car does not have any special off-road qualities, but the increased ground clearance will still allow this car to overcome some off-road conditions. The cost of Lada Largus Cross is 573 thousand rubles.
Our manufacturers do not have any more 7-seater versions of SUVs and crossovers.
European class representatives
Let's move on to European manufacturers. European companies are not very fond of seven-seat SUVs, so such models do not come across often.
One of the companies that has 7-seater SUVs is the English Land Rover. The model that can optionally be equipped with an additional row of seats is the Range Rover Sport. This model, due to the fact that it is premium, is well equipped in terms of comfort and has good off-road performance. But the cost is also significant - from 3,384 thousand rubles. up to 5,593 thousand rubles.
The second SUV of this company that can “take on board” 7 passengers is Land Rover Discovery. This SUV, which combines the luxury of a premium car with the excellent performance of an off-road vehicle, will also not come cheap. The price of the Discovery model is 2,991 thousand - 3,645 thousand rubles.
German automakers also have a seven-seater SUV. But they only have one model with 7 seats - the Audi Q7. This premium SUV is popular despite its price. And it costs buyers 2,990 thousand - 4,100 thousand rubles.
The latest European company to have seven-seat SUVs on its books is Sweden's Volvo. This company also has only one model with so many seats - Volvo CX90. This crossover, like all Volvo models, cannot be called cheap, since its price is 3,119 thousand - 3,579 thousand rubles.
There are no other European companies producing cars of this class with so many seats.
The best seven-seat crossovers
There are a considerable number of crossover models with seven seats, but not all of them can be called truly comfortable and of high quality. Each car of this type has its own unique features and nuances. But we can still highlight several best cars with a third row of seats that have decent technical characteristics.
The Toyota Highlander is a very comfortable model. Based on the level of reliability, the car can be classified as a premium class car. There is enough space in the cabin for each passenger, which is very important. A person sits comfortably on any row of seats. But in order to guarantee comfort in the last row, the manufacturer had to sacrifice luggage compartment capacity. Its volume is only 269 liters. As standard, the car is equipped with a 2.7-liter power unit with a power of 190 horsepower. This engine is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission.
The Honda Pilot crossover SUV has been produced for many years, during which it has been possible to verify in practice the excellent level of reliability and quality. The car has an ambiguous appearance and is not the lowest price, but is still in demand. Even in the basic configuration, the car has almost everything necessary that a current driver could need.
There is actually a lot of space in the car. An adult man of considerable build can sit in the last row of seats without any problems. Once again, the trunk, which measures only 217 liters, falls victim to such space.
But something always has to be sacrificed in this case. The model is equipped with a 3.5-liter engine with a power of almost 250 horsepower. The car turned out to be powerful, which makes it easy and simple to overcome various obstacles along the road. This engine is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission.
American SUVs with 7 seats
But in America, 7-seater SUVs are in great demand, which is why they have more models. So, what American companies offer cars of this class.
General Motors
One of the most notable American SUVs designed for 7 passengers is the Cadillac Escalade. A huge SUV with a powerful engine is the standard of American luxury. But this full-size SUV also costs quite a bit. The price for it starts at 3,063 thousand rubles.
The second brand that produces cars with 7 seats is Chevrolet. Under this brand the company produces several 7-seater models:

Asian 7-seater SUVs
There are enough 7-seater cars from Japanese manufacturers. Moreover, they also produce SUVs with 7 seats and 7-seat crossovers. Below is a list of the most common 7-seater off-road cars from the Japanese automobile industry:

Perhaps that is why few companies produce them. But if such cars are produced, it means they are in demand.

The only European representative of our review is the Audi Q7. This is a seven-seat crossover that doesn't need to be talked about much. .
Photos of this car make many motorists want to buy a similar SUV, but the price does not allow everyone to do this.
For the seven-seat version of the crossover, the manufacturer asks almost 3 million rubles. For this money, the buyer receives the following benefits:

- good and powerful engines with huge potential;
